To inquire about scheduling a SOAR presentation, contact Elissa May Franklin, SOAR Coordinator, at 401-467-9940 x118 or [email protected]org.
SOAR members deliver presentations to various audiences throughout Rhode Island and beyond. We tell our personal stories in order to raise awareness about domestic violence, educate our communities, and talk about the importance of bystanders getting involved.
SOAR members are available to provide educational presentations to your classroom, school, community, or workplace and can customize the presentation according to the needs of your group.
Organize an event at your school, church, or workplace, and invite a SOAR member to share her story. Hearing about survivor experiences in their own words is a powerful way to help break the silence and stigma around this issue.
